French Style-The Espadrille

hen it comes to shoes French girls love during the Summer, the must have shoe is the espadrille. French girls have been wearing espadrilles for years and it’s a quintessential shoe for them. They are worn everywhere from the city to the beach during the Summer. They are worn with white jeans, dresses, skirts, and even shorts. One of my favorite pairs are these Castañer, which are actually made in Spain, where the espadrille originated from. The French brand Sezanne also has quite the selection as well. I started out with my cream Castañer and added black last year since they have become a staple in my Summer wardrobe. They are incredibly comfortable and worth the investment. I’ve had several pairs of espadrilles in the past from place like Zara and H&M and nothing compares to the Castañer espadrille.
