I always get so inspired and excited when I see retailers talking about their Spring lineup. Even though we are still months away, it gets me in the mood. Spring is my absolute favorite season and I feel like I come more alive after months of cold and Grey days. I am doing a little Spring refresh to the living room and wanted to share with you what I am thinking.
WALL ART– I love this new collaboration between Anthropologie and Hotel Magique. This print would look amazing in the living room and I know just the corner that would work.
ALPACA THROW– Spring is still a little cool at night and there’s nothing cozier than a beautiful warm throw. Serene and Lily have beautiful ones but you can also find them on ETSY.
BLUE PILLOW COVER– Pillows are always one of the easiest ways to refresh your space. I am trying to work on using more patterns and textures in my decor. I am starting with the pillows first and this vintage rug.
BLUE CERAMIC TABLE LAMP– One thing I am starting to invest more in is lamps. You can never have enough table lamps. With one of the interior design courses I took, they say you should always have a small table and small lamp for every piece of furniture in the room. Several of my lamps I’ve picked up at antique stores but there are so many sites you can get great looking lamps from these days. This blue ceramic lamp is so calming and pretty to me.
SERENA & LILY SCALLOP SIDE TABLE– Such a cute table for the bedside, in the living room, or even in a bathroom. I love the scalloped details of this table. The table is so versatile and one I feel you could have for many many years.
CIRE TRUDON CANDLE– This brand of candle is a little newer to me but so far I am loving. They are the oldest candlemaker in the world, coming from France. I have the ABD EL KADER- and it has a fresh mint smell that awakes your senses. Plus, the glass jar the candle comes in is absolutely beautiful and one you could keep and use as a vase.
COFFEE TABLE BOOKS- Always adding to my collection and these are two I love to look at for inspiration. Mark S. Dikes More Beautiful is full of endless inspiration when it comes to decorating with blue and white. For party and entertaining inspiration, Erin Lauder’s Entertaining Beautifully is a wonderful option.
