The trench coat is the epitome of French girl dressing and one of my favorite coats to transition into Spring. I have always been a huge fan of a good trench coat. They are so classic and timeless and easy to wear with anything. One of my favorite ways is with jeans, a tee shirt, and flats. I have owned a trench coat for years now and honestly couldn’t see my wardrobe without one. Here are 5 trench coats you should have on your radar.
This is the trench I have on in the above pictures and I love it so much. It’s a great length, water resistant, fully lined, and there’s a tab that keeps the belt from sliding around. This is probably my favorite feature of this coat. Plus, I bought it during a sale when it was 50% off.
The icon trench from J.CREW is always one of their top sellers for the season. It’s a very classic looking trench coat, runs true to size, and has navy underlining if you want to put the collar up. You can usually get this trench on sale also during one of their sales.
This trench from Cuyana has a bit more of a relaxed look with a flare silhouette that falls slightly below the knee. It’s fully lined, double breasted, and sustainably made if that’s important to you when purchasing clothing.
This trench from Mango is a bit longer than the others but still very classic. It has a removable belt, lapel collar, and is also lined. I had a trench from Mango years ago and wore it into the ground, you can’t go wrong for the price. Plus, you can also get this on sale sometimes as well.
Another very classic looking trench coat at Nordstrom is this London Fog trench. It has a detachable hood which makes it nice to wear in the rain. The trench is a mixture of cotton and polyester but has all the classic makings of a good trench. This runs true to size.
