I've always wanted to carry made-in-France products on La Vie on Grand, but I knew I had to be patient. The right brand had to find me first.

And it did at a Marché de Noël in Paris last Christmas. I was wandering through the market, wrapped in my coat, warm coffee in hand, when I came across the most beautiful display of bags and accessories. Behind the table stood Hortense warm, passionate, and overflowing with the kind of creative energy that stops you in your tracks. As we talked, she told me how Bazar Atelier Sablon was born during lockdown, how she had taught herself to sew on her grandmother's machine, and how that very first tote bag made from leftover Toile de Jouy fabric had grown into a thriving French brand.

I was completely charmed. And when she told me everything was made in France — truly made in France — I knew I had found exactly what I had been looking for.
