Classic Pieces To Wear In Paris
Classic Pieces To Wear In Paris
Heading to Paris soon and curious about what kind of pieces to wear, classic pieces are always the best ones to take.
Paris is the city where chic, timeless, and classic clothing pieces reign supreme. Parisians aren’t into trends, so if you want to look like a local, focus on these kinds of clothing pieces.
What I Wore In Paris
Here are several outfits I wore during my time in Paris in April. The weather was a bit colder than anticipated and there weren’t too many days above 60 degrees.
However, when you pack classic pieces, it’s much easier to acclimate to weather changes, and always have something to wear. My one suggestion for packing for Paris is always to take layering pieces, no matter the season. They will always come in handy whether you take silk camis, t-shirts, or long sleeve bodysuits.
I also had a good selection of blazers I packed with me and a few classic blazers I picked up while in Paris. If you have to shop for clothes during a trip because of the weather, Paris is the place to do this.
Navy Blazer + Flare Denim + Cashmere Sweater + Classic Bag

A navy blazer is always a chic and classic piece to pack for Paris. Wear it with jeans or even trousers and you will look like a Parisian in no time.
I am wearing the J.Crew Willa Blazer in Navy in a size 6 along with PAIGE Denim in my normal size. Flare, wide-leg, and straight-leg jeans are the choice for Parisians.

I also bought this pair of navy New Balance sneakers to wear around the city and they are incredibly comfortable. New Balance is very popular in Paris now and all the Parisians are wearing them.

A denim jacket is always a great classic piece to take during the spring season to wear with trousers or even dresses. You could even do a denim-on-denim look if you want to look like a local. My favorite denim jacket is the Sézane Wilfrield Jacket, which I wear in the medium.
