Bouillon Chartier

A Parisian institution since 1896. I have mixed reviews about this restaurant but felt compelled to put it on here. The decor is elegant and beautiful art nouveau and the room is grand. The food is simple and affordable (soup of the day for 1 euro).

However, the food is also questionable in my opinion. I respect the history of the restaurant, and they do serve food all day with community tables. If you want to do something that’s part of Parisian history and want a cheap meal, this is your place.

Pink Mamma

I have been to Pink Mamma for the last 4 trips to Paris. It’s part of the Big Mamma group, which has numerous restaurants throughout Paris. The Italian is incredible but the decor is even better. It’s a fun vibe in a lively setting with multiple floors.

On my last trip to Paris, I had high tea there, which was a new experience for them. It wasn’t the most amazing high tea ever but fun with a group of little and big girls. Whether you go for Italian food or high tea, make a reservation here because they go quickly.
