French Fridays Week 10

French Fridays

I am excited to share a new series with you, French Fridays. This is French Fridays week 10 where I am sharing everything French that I’ve loved the past week in style, food, beauty, finds, and favorite places in Paris to know.

French Style

Double denim is one of those outfit combinations I feel people are afraid to wear sometimes unless you’re French. I personally think double denim is so chic and unexpected.

You can either wear different shades of blue in your top and bottoms or wear all the same shades of denim. Love this look here with a chambray top from ba&sh Paris which I have and wear all the time plus these denim jeans from & Other Stories which are straight-leg.

French Recipe

This isn’t necessarily a recipe but a Friday night apéro, where we have a nice glass of wine and a little charcuterie to wind down from the week. It’s a great way to end the week and get excited for the weekend.

It doesn’t take much either to make this happen. Pour a glass of your favorite wine and add a few kinds of cheese with some meat and crackers. Maybe some olives and that’s all you really need.

French Finds

Exterior of Bonne Maman Advent Calendar

For your favorite Francophile in your life or even for yourself, the Bonne Maman Advent Calendar is available at World Market.

24 jars of delicious Bonne Maman jam to open each day in December, I mean basically Christmas starts on December 1st, right? I try to buy this every year; it always sells out quickly, so if you’re interested, you better grab it soon.

French Beauty

3 french brand chapsticks

This time of year when the weather starts to become cool, my lips become very chapped. You will never find me without my favorite French lip balms from NUXE, BIODERMA, and Avène.

Whenever I go to Paris, I stock up on all of these. They are so cheap at the drugstore that I always buy a bunch and stash them in every purse.

These also make great gifts and stocking stuffers as well for the holidays. Thankfully, you can easily buy them off Amazon and don’t necessarily have to get to Paris, of course, it’s a plus if you can.

Favorite Places In Paris To Know

Le Colimaçon is a cozy little restaurant tucked away in the Marais. When I went to Paris in April, I purchased a planning package from Megan at Paris, Perfected. This restaurant was on the list and after eating here I know why.

The menu is classic French with a twist and the restaurant is uber cozy yet casual. Sit upstairs if you can for the atmosphere and be sure to make a reservation.

Hope you’ve enjoyed this edition of French Fridays Week 10.
