French Fridays Week 3

French Fridays

I am excited to share a new series with you, French Fridays. Sharing everything French that I’ve loved the past week in style, food, beauty, finds, and favorite places in Paris to know.

French Style

A simple yet classy outfit with a navy cardigan, straight-leg denim, a silk scarf for polish, pointed-toe flats, and a Tory Burch bag, which resembles the Hermès bag.

I love the pointed-toe flat vs a round toe. A pointed toe is a bit more sophisticated and not as girly as a regular round-toe ballet flat. Sarah Flint is so gracious to offer my readers a special code- SARAHFLINT-BANOELANIKC to receive $50 off your first order.

French Recipe

Last weekend we went to some friends for dinner. We were wanting to recreate those magical nights we had in Provence.

Our friends made the most delicious Salmon Niçoise salad, from Food and Wine, and I have the recipe link for you. It was truly delightful, tasteful, and incredibly satisfying.

This is going to become a salad we make on repeat, especially on those nights we don’t want to eat anything too heavy.

French Finds

Stripe sweater season is upon us and I love this new mock neck version from & Other Stories. I’ve been using my French Press so much recently but also found this darling Crate and Barrel one in case you’re on the hunt.

I am looking for a French-looking bistro set for our backyard for a little area we are creating with pea gravel. A friend sent this one to me the other day, and although it’s not the exact one I am looking for it might do in the meantime.

French Beauty

Ask any French girl, about the one beauty product they have in their routine and most would say a bottle of Bioderma Makeup Remover. I have been using this for years as well.

I use this right before I wash my face in the evening or when I am ready to get the makeup off my face. It’s light, not greasy, and is one of the best makeup removers I have ever used.

Favorite Places In Paris To Know

A charming bistro with a beautiful terrace in the 4th arrondissement is Chez Julien. The interiors are just as opulent and the menu is classic French.

You can go during the morning for a café crème and to people-watch while staring out at the view of Île Saint-Louis. Or go during the evening for an intimate atmosphere that only Paris can deliver.
