My Parisian Street Style Looks

Parisian Street Style

After showing you 25 Parisian street style looks, I thought I would show you my Parisian street style looks and what I wore during my trip in April. I have to say after taking photographs of all the street style looks, I wish I would have packed differently. I definitely took notes for next time though of what I want to wear.

My goal is always to be comfortable, classic, and fit in as much as I can with the locals. I never want to stick out or at least try not to. The American accent I guess does give it away.

I have to say I didn’t wear everything I packed and honestly I packed way too much. I was hoping to get some different outfit shots but sometimes things just don’t work out.

Some of my outfits are ones I had planned to photograph and some are ones just taken with the iPhone when we went out to walk around in the evenings.

When I post outfit pictures, I always like to give a sizing reference: I am 5′ 5 1/2 inches, a size 6 in bottoms, and a small or medium in tops.

I am wearing the Sèzane Colette in a medium, with the Yves Trousers in black in a size 6, some old brown VINCE sandals, and carrying a French market tote which I actually picked up in Paris for $10. I felt so Parisian in this outfit and loved wearing it around the city.

Here I am wearing the Sèzane Tomboy in the blue in a size 8, the Austin Trousers in a size 6, and Chanel-looking pumps (they are dupes, not the actual ones). These trousers are incredibly comfortable and could also be worn with sneakers to walk around the city as well.

This Gaspard sweater from Bash Paris is one of my favorite clothing purchases from the trip. I actually tried to buy this sweater online and it was sold out in my size. I went to the store and it was the only one left, so I knew it was meant to be. The sweater is sold out still but it looks like there are a few available from Nordstrom.

I am wearing a size medium in the jacket with black flare jeans from Mango and my black waterproof boots I took. I love this jacket because it’s obviously very classic and timeless. The jeans and boots fit true to size although the jeans are incredibly long and I had to get them tailored.

This denim jacket was another purchase from Paris. I love to be able to shop in stores in person when I usually have to shop online. I buy a lot from & Other Stories but it was nice to be able to go into the store and try items on in person.

I love the belt detail on the denim jacket because it dresses it up a bit compared to a regular denim jacket. I am wearing a medium in the jacket and wore it with my favorite Mother Denim, a lace top from Sèzane, and shoes from Sèzane. I am wearing a size 6 in the top, my normal size in the jeans, and my normal size in shoes.

This Veronica Beard blazer was definitely an investment piece but it’s so classic that I can wear it for years with jeans or pants. Not sure I’ve ever spent that much on a blazer but the color palette is just perfect for Spring or Fall.

I wore a black tank underneath with jeans and my favorite new shoes for Summer from Sèzane. I am wearing a 6 in the blazer and it fits perfectly.

The white blazer I am wearing is from Aritzia and is a size 6. The jeans are from Madewell and are true to size, and the scarf is vintage Hermēs.

Another Paris purchase was this beautiful dress from Bash Paris. They make some of my favorite dresses I own which all fit so nicely, I am wearing a small. I had brought this Mango jacket which is medium and it fits perfectly with the dress during the day and sneakers.

For the night I would wear this exact same outfit and changed into these shoes for dinner to make it a little more dressy.

  1. Love your style! Can you share what you said you would do differently? I’m going to Paris in September, first time to Europe!

    1. Hi Jill,
Thank you and thanks for stopping by! September is a great time to be in Paris for sure! I ended up taking too many pants and jeans. Should have brought 2 pairs of pants and 3 pairs of jeans. I also packed too many tops versus just packing the ones I knew I would wear several times. Basically, I overpacked and didn’t take my own advice!
