Parisian Street Style Outfits To Wear
Parisian Street Style Outfits To Wear
My favorite thing to do when I go to Paris is sit at a café and watch all the Parisian street-style outfits go by. Today, I am sharing 7 Parisian street-style outfits to wear now or later. I captured these outfit combinations in Paris this summer while I sat and had my morning café crèmé.
I gain so much inspiration sitting at a café and watching people go to work, take their children to school, and meet friends for coffee.
French women inspire my style and are the ones I look to when it comes to my wardrobe. They are chic, classic, and timeless and know how to put outfit combinations together easily.
What I admire the most about how Parisian and French women dress is their ability to take very basic pieces and elevate them into an outfit combination I instantly want to wear.
7 Parisian Style Combinations To Wear
Here are 7 Parisian street style outfit combinations to wear now that you can easily recreate.
Navy Cropped Pants + White Top + Espadrilles
This is one of my favorite Parisian street-style outfit combinations. It’s casual yet chic and easy enough to wear to work or for the weekend. Start with navy cropped pants, a relaxed and loose white top, brown espadrilles, and a white cagged bag. Add a canvas tote to complete the look.
I love this navy sailor style from J.Crew or this essential twill worn with an easy relaxed white top. Add this white bag or this budget-friendly option from Target.

Red Dress + Gold Sandals + Bucket Bag
I love this combination of a bright red dress paired with chic gold sandals and a raffia bucket bag. The colors blend together for a timeless combination. Gold sandals are one of the easiest ways to elevate an outfit plus they are so versatile.

Black Blazer + Denim + Velvet Loafers
This is a very basic yet incredibly chic Parisian street-style outfit combination. Pair your favorite black blazer with a pair of light denim, add a grey T-shirt underneath, and add a pop of color and contrast with velvet loafers.

Leopard Pants + Sweater + Basket Bag + Sandals
Animal print is all over Paris at the moment, but honestly, Parisian women are always wearing animal print. You can consider animal print timeless and classic any time of the year. I saw women wearing everything from pants like this style from Reformation to loafers and handbags. The good thing about this style is that if animal print pants aren’t something you love, but you still want to wear the print then wear it in your tops or accessories.
This great top from FRAME is easy to wear with denim, this handbag from Sézane, and these budget-friendly flats from GAP. You could even add a simple belt to your outfit.

Black Cardigan + Wide Leg Denim + Espadrilles
This is a classic combination of a textured black cardigan with wide-leg denim and a pair of espadrilles for the summer season. Even when it’s cool outside, you can still bring in a seasonal element like espadrilles.

Dark Denim Jacket + Patch Pocket Denim + Animal Print Flats
Double denim is one of my all-time favorite Parisian street-style outfit combinations to wear. And the French do double denim incredibly. It’s not all about being matchy-matchy. It’s about blending denim, adding texture like an animal print flat or a striped top, and adding a pop of color with a burgundy accessory.

Animal Print Jeans + Cargo Jacket + Sandals
Another example of chic Parisians wearing animal print pants and wearing them well. The exact pants she’s wearing are this style from Sézane. Another option would be this pair from Ganni, or this pair from Mango. Wear them with a simple jacket, tank, and sandals for a chic daytime look.

Hi! I actually really love all of these and was surprised how well they do the animal print in the summer- NEVER crossed my mind not wearing it during warmer months as well as wearing gold bags/shoes in the summer. Quick question though- I am visiting in late May next year, and have been wondering which purse to bring. I have a gorgeous leopard print calf hair Sezané bucket bag with gold straps circa 2017 as well as a J.Crew gold embossed top handle bag -are either of those appropriate to wear that time of year?
What I observed in Paris earlier this summer was how many women were carrying a canvas tote in addition to a purse or handbag –or instead of one and sometimes multiple. Now your first two street styles show women with canvas totes, too! Would love to get your opinion on this. Are Parisians always ready for a stop at the market? I typically carry one in my handbag for groceries or other purchases, which later gets carried (full) outside my handbag (of course).
Hi Molly,
Yes, all the women carry some sort of canvas tote! They use them to carry anything and everything. Paris is trying to really do away with plastic so you must have a bag when you go to the markets. I actually use a canvas tote as well when I go to the market, use it as a pool bag, it basically acts like a carryall. They are pretty smart if you ask me.

This is a favourite post of mine, Noelani. So clever to match what you see on the streets of Paris for your readers. Although I am easily more than 30 years older than you (74)
I do love visiting Paris, and agree about the chic and easy style there. You are so fortunate to visit at least annually, and likely more. You are following your dream.
Hi Cath,
Thank you so much, it was a favorite post to write. And yes, I agree about being fortunate to visit Paris so often. I don’t take any of it for granted.
Have a lovely day, Noelani
Thank you for your style inspiration! I love everything you publish. I used your website very heavily when I planned what to pack for my 2-week trip to Provence in June. Now I am a true Francophile!
Can you please tell me where the canvas tote bag in the top photo is from? I love it and all the other outfits you designed.
Thanks!
Hi Kristin,
Thank you so much for reading, and I hope the packing lists were helpful! Always love another Francophile friend.
Yes, it’s from Amazon. I see it wasn’t linked in the post, but I went ahead and updated it! Thanks for letting me know.
Have a great day,
Noelani
