There’s a wide range of shopping areas in Paris offering bags in different styles and budgets. Today, I am sharing a round of the 20 best bags you can buy in Paris.

One of the luxury brands’ most iconic and timeless pieces is the Chanel 2.55, created by Coco Chanel, and introduced in February 1955(hence the name).

She designed the bag for everyday practical use with a touch of elegance. In fact, this was the first handbag with shoulder straps.

The 2.55 has a luxurious quilted exterior, iconic metal chain shoulder straps, and a rectangular-shaped turn lock on the front.

The lock is known as the “Mademoiselle Lock.” It’s rumored that Coco chose this specific lock as a tribute to her unmarried status.

This sought-after bag also comes in various sizes, materials, and colors.

2. YSL Sac De Jour

With its timeless and elegant design, the YSL Sac De Jour first came onto the scene in 2013 and has been a sought-after bag ever since.

The Milo Classic is a classic and chic crossbody bag that can also be shortened to use as a shoulder bag. The bag comes in 4 different color variations and also looks similar to a more expensive designer box bag.

ba&sh Paris is another French brand that has beautiful bags to buy in Paris and is also much cheaper than buying from the States. ba&sh is a bit more bohemian and trendy in its styles.

In fact, their Teddy Bags are instant best sellers and always sell out each season. You can wear the bags either shoulder or crossbody and this leather style has lots of details.

Handmade braiding on the front and an embossed signature label on the buckle. The Teddy also comes in various colors and sizes for each season.

Since its debut in 2021, the Celine Triomphe bag has become an instant hit. The bag is similar in appearance and structure to the iconic box bag but has the double CC logo in gold on the front.

Over the years, this bag still remains one of the most sought-after, and a great investment bag to buy in Paris. Fun fact, each bag takes at least 15 hours to make and each artisan has been trained for at least 4 years on the specific detailing of the classic flap.

One of my favorite bags to buy in Paris is a Longchamp Le Pliage. This iconic bag debuted in 1993 and has since become the brand’s best-selling bag worldwide.

Named after the French verb meaning to “fold,” and inspired by Japanese origami art. The Le Pliage is a canvas tote, with leather trim, which is lightweight, can easily be folded, and water-resistant.

This is one of my favorite bags to travel with and carry around Paris. Since it can easily be folded it makes packing easy.

The Le Pliage comes in numerous styles, shapes, and colors. This is one of the more affordable bags to buy in Paris.

A.P.C. is a French brand known for its laid-back attitude and classic Parisian designs. The Grace Bag is no exception. With its sleek structure, smooth leather, logo, and gold buckle on the font, this is a well-known bag.
