French Fridays No. 20 French-Inspired Looks Of The Week
While spring is still a few months away, pieces are starting to arrive in stores. And many of these classic pieces can easily be worn now and into the spring season.
Spring is around the corner, and this week’s looks are inspired by the new season and the stylish pieces to wear a la Parisienne.
French women are known for their basket bags, and this one from Clare V. is perfect for the season, going along with these tortoise sandals.
I also love this new navy chic-looking jacket from J.Crew, with these Mother patch pocket denim, and mini Veronica Beard dash bag.

Petit Plaisir
One of my favorite moments from the week.
lifes little pleasures
Petit Plaisir
The weather was so nice this week, I was finally able to walk to the grocery store again. Thankfully, we live in a little area where we can walk everywhere but it’s been so cold lately, that hasn’t been possible. The other night I walked up to the store to get our ingredients for dinner. While it isn’t walking to the store in Paris, it’s nice to feel like it sometimes.
On My Paris List
le vaudeville
I have a running list of old-school Parisian brasseries I want to dine at, and Le Vaudeville is one of them. Located in the 2nd, this art deco establishment has been around since 1918. The brasserie is close to the Opera, iconic, and known for its seafood platters.
