As we start to think about fall here’s a classic French girl look we can start to put together. A timeless black blazer, your favorite white tee, a pair of straight-leg denim, two-tone pumps, and a quilted black leather bag.

If you are looking for a French Podcast to listen to here are a few of my favorites lately: The Life Of A Bon Vivant, my friend Beeta discusses how to manifest your best Parisian dreams, and the Join Us In France Travel Podcast, all about France, the culture, and traveling to France.

A reader sent me this interesting article in the NYT about the importance of the French language, this might be behind a paywall.

Red bags are trending for the new season according to French Vogue. What are your thoughts about this?

French Finds

Jardin du Luxembourg and Carrière Frères

Two new recent candle finds, are this Kerzon, Jardin du Luxembourg, which has hints of almond, lime, and lilac. It’s beautiful and makes me think of days lounging in Luxembourg and having a picnic. I picked this one up at the Museè Carnavalet in Paris.

Also, this beautiful candle from Carrière Frères is a newer French candle maker to me. It’s perfect going into fall with hints of Sandalwood and the jar is absolutely gorgeous.

Favorite Places In Paris To Know

La Palette Cafè in Paris is one of those cafés where you can stay all day and all night. The terrace is big and inviting, the service is just as great as the food, and the café oozes Parisian charm inside. Go for a morning coffee and stay for an evening wine. Put this on your list of must-visit cafés in Paris. – 43 Rue de Seine, 6th

  1. I bought a vintage red YSL bag (one I wanted desperately 12 years ago but didn’t want to spend 1200 on a bag back then) on the RealReal several weeks back for a couple hundred bucks. Now I’m glad I did!
