My Parisian Street Style In October

My Parisian Street Style In October

Today, I am sharing my Parisian fall street style and what I wore to Paris at the end of September and the beginning of October. The weather was much more mild than usual for this time of year. The mornings started off cool but it would warm up by mid-afternoon, and get cool again in the evenings.

I used lots of layering pieces during the week, camis, blazers, and t-shirts all to help stay comfortable during the day.

As always, I like to pack classic, timeless pieces that I can easily mix and match for maximum versatility. Of course, I do take extra outfits to shoot for the blog, but these are all pieces I wore during the week.

My Street Style Outfits

Silk Top + Dark Denim + Gold Sandals

The first day we arrived, I changed into my favorite Sézane silk top (I wear a size 6) dark flare jeans from J.Crew (true to size), and gold Sézane sandals. We were heading to lunch so I knew this outfit would be appropriate and the shoes were easy enough to make the walk up the street.

I am using my navy Celine that I bought this summer in Paris, but another beautiful option is this navy from DeMellier.

Black Blazer + Wide Leg Denim + Sneakers

The next day we headed out early and I knew we wouldn’t be back until dinner so I wanted to wear something classic and comfortable. I put on these Mother Roller Denim( true to size), a silk cami because I knew it was going to be warm that afternoon, the Christie Blazer from Sézane(wearing size 38), and these Axel Arigato sneakers(true to size).

I purchased these sneakers this past summer when we were in Paris, and they are so incredibly comfortable. Normally, I wouldn’t recommend wearing shoes right out of the box in Paris, but I did just that with these sneakers. Plus, I have been seeing them all over Paris lately.

I only took a few pieces of jewelry, including this necklace, it’s so simple yet gives a little pop to a basic everyday outfit.

Tie Neck Blouse + Denim + Boots

We went to a casual dinner that evening so I changed into these Mother Denim (true to size), this silk bow tie top, and these booties from J.Crew.

I always love to pack at least one or two silk tops for any trip, especially Paris. They are easy enough to wear with jeans yet elegant enough to look dressy.

Trousers + Silk Cami+ Denim Jacket + Sneakers

Here’s a look I wore one day for a late lunch and then to dinner that evening. I wanted to be casual yet look elevated and the denim jacket did just that. I love this denim jacket. It’s definitely an investment piece but it’s so chic. In fact, I wore it with multiple outfits during the week in Paris and it just made each outfit complete. I took a medium in the denim jacket and it fits perfectly.

I wore the jacket with a simple cami, these Reformation pants ( I am wearing my normal size in petite), this ba&sh belt(wearing size 75), this necklace, and Axel Arigato sneakers.

Denim + Pinstripe Blazer + Gold Sandals

This day I wore these new travel denim(wearing my normal size) from MERSEA which are absolutely perfect for everyday wear and for packing for a trip.

I wore the denim with a navy pinstripe blazer from Paris last year(similar option), a cami, and the Sézane Gloria Sandals.

Faux Leather Pants + Cami + Cardigan

One evening I changed into these J.Crew Faux Leather Pants (I sized down one) and they are probably the most amazing faux leather pants ever for the price and fit. I wore them with this silk Cuyana Cami (I wear a small), this ba&sh Paris Navy Cardigan ( I wear a medium), and Sézane Gloria Sandals.

Denim Jacket + Maxi Skirt + Tall Boots

We went to lunch one afternoon at the beautiful Le Train Bleu so I wore a satin black midi skirt, I will link similar, as mine is older. Then I put the Cuyana white cami (I wear small), under the Veronica Beard Jacket, same ba&sh belt, and finished the look with these tall J.Crew boots.

Striped Turtleneck + High Rise Denim + Boots

I love these Sézane 70s trousers I wore one afternoon to walk around. I have them in my regular size but could have gone down one size. Also, they were pretty long on me so I had to have them hemmed.

I wore the trousers with the Jacob Jumper in the navy stripe, this is one of my favorite tops from Sézane. And I own it in 3 other colors: black, grey, and camel. I wear a medium in this top, it’s classic, I love the gold button detail on the side and it’s easy to put on with a pair of jeans and go.

For a pop of color, I added the Axelle Ankle Boots and a Celine clutch. I could also wear my Sézane Milo with this as well.

Dress + denim jacket +sneakers

One morning going to get café crème, I wore this ba&sh dress ( I am wearing size small ) with the Veronica Beard jacket(wearing a medium), ba&sh belt (wearing size 75), and Axel Arigato sneakers.

I bought this dress over the summer in Paris and love how versatile it is throughout the seasons. I wore it with sandals this summer, and sneakers for fall, and I will wear it with tall boots during the winter.

Stripe Dress + Blazer + Boots

One day, I wore this Sézane Dress (I am wearing a small), with this Veronica Beard Navy Blazer (I wear a size 6), and Denim Dickey in the morning when it was cool. The Veronica Beard Dickey is definitely an investment piece but it’s so incredibly versatile and with the denim dickey underneath it’s chic and classic looking.

In the afternoon when it became warm, I just took off the blazer and was still comfortable enough to walk around in the Sézane boots. I am using my Celine bag I picked up this summer but a beautiful alternative is this DeMellier bag.
