How To Style A Trench Coat

Trench coats are one of my favorite coats to wear during any season. These classic staples are stylish and functional and can instantly elevate any outfit. Trench coats are also chic, timeless, classic, and of course incredibly French. Today, I am sharing 6 different outfit combinations with a trench coat.

During the fall I like to wear them with jeans and a sweater or trousers, a silk blouse and pumps, or a dress with tall boots. Trench coats are the ultimate layering coat because you can easily wear a sweater, blazer, and trench all together and it will look effortlessly elevated.

There are many different ways to style a trench coat depending on the season. Trench coats are typically designed for rainy weather versus wearing them in colder weather. However, you can always layer a heavier wool coat over a trench coat for extra protection and still look chic.

Trench coats are also one of the coats I always recommend to pack for Paris, because they can always be used when the weather is unpredictable.

Trench coat + cami + trousers + pumps

During the fall, I like to wear a trench coat with cream trousers for a beautiful and classic autumn-toned look. This season I am wearing this ba&sh short trench (size small) along with a Cuyana silk cami (size small), Reformation pants (size 6), and two-tone pumps.

The shorter trench version is chic and stylish and makes the whole look a bit more polished than a longer trench would.
