What I Wore In Paris During October

Packing for Paris is always one of my favorite parts before any trip. I always like to make sure I am packing classic and easy pieces that can be mixed together for maximum versatility.

Today, I am showing 5 outfit combinations I wore in Paris during October. The weather during the month was a combination of rain, cold, heat, and more rain. It was one of the rainiest times I’ve been in Paris.

October Paris Outfits

This was a day of a bit of rain off and on. I always say basics make the best outfits, and rainy days are no exception.

I am wearing my favorite Sézane Scott Trench ( I sized up one) with an Aritzia Blazer (I sized down to a size 2, as it’s very oversized). Under the blazer, I have on an Everlane White Button-down (I’m wearing a size 4) and some black denim.

During the rainy season in Paris, I always like to pack a pair of waterproof boots, and I added this Madewell belt to finish the outfit.

Chocolate and Burgundy shades are everywhere this season, so I wanted to incorporate both on this day. One of my favorite clothing pieces is a blazer with denim and flats.

The blazer I am wearing from Sézane is sold out, so I am showing a similar version. Under the blazer, I am wearing this Frame blouse (medium) with some cropped denim from DL 1961.

My exact loafers are also sold out in this color, although, two other colorways are available. These loafers must be one of the most comfortable shoes I have worn walking around the city.

This navy Sandro Tweed Jacket (wearing a size 38), is one of the pieces I purchased while in Paris. You know how much I love a beautiful tweed, and this one is no exception. When I saw it, I knew I wanted to add it to my wardrobe immediately.

Underneath the jacket, I am wearing a striped top, but it would be just as easy to wear a silk top, cami, or even a stripe button-down.

I finished the outfit with some wide-leg Mother Denim (I sized down one size), and my favorite Sézane boots.

One afternoon for lunch, I wore this beautiful Quince silk midi skirt (wearing a medium), with a black turtleneck, J. Crew blazer (wearing a size 6), and these knee high boots that I finally found.

One day for walking around the Marais, I wore the Sézane Gillie Skirt (wearing size 6), with a short sleeve grey sweater, suede jacket, and silk scarf.

The suede jacket I am wearing is sold out, so I tried to find some similar versions as well. I also could have worn my knee high boots, but the shorter boots felt more appropriate.

Here are several shoe styles I wore during the month. I always like to pack shoes that are comfortable for walking the cobblestone streets plus stylish as well.

And, I like them to be shoes I can wear for both daytime and evening events. You can see all my favorite walking shoes to pack for Paris in this post.

What I Bought In Paris During October

Of course, I did a little shopping while in Paris. I bought several pieces from Sézane such as this gorgeous sweater (wearing a small), my favorite Jacob Jumper in the seasons color, some socks for London, and this bracelet in brown. I have the Ecru color and it’s such a great statement piece.

Sandro was another place I picked up several investment pieces that I will have for years to come. Besides, the tweed jacket, I also bought this black blazer. Two other pieces, I didn’t buy, but hope to when I am back next month, are this belt and this ruffle top.

I was able to check out the new Balzac Paris shop and walked away with these cute and on trend for the season Leopard sneakers ( wearing a size 36, went down a size).
