The Parisian way of life and fashion have such a big impact on my lifestyle. I love the way they appreciate the simple things like enjoying a long meal with friends and of course how chic and classic Parisian women dress.

As always in Paris, wearing the right outfits for any occasion can help you look chic, look like a local, and stay comfortable and confident. Today, I am sharing several outfit ideas that are perfect for your next brunch in Paris and also a few favorite places to eat.

Stripe Sweater + Denim + Boots

A casual yet classic Parisian brunch outfit is a simple stripe sweater with black jeans and boots. What’s more quintessential French than a black and white stripe sweater? This is a perfect look for cafés, coffee shops, and casual brunch spots.

A few stripe sweater options are this one from Alex Mill, Reformation, or this one from Shopbop. I am wearing the sweater with MERSEA pull-on ankle denim, great denim for traveling (wearing my normal size).

One of the most versatile shoes I’ve worn this season are these Sézane ankle boots (wearing my normal size) which are so comfortable and elevated with the polished caramel coloring.

I could wear this outfit as a spring transition with a trench coat, sneakers, or flat sandals for a brunch look.

Stripe Dress + Blazer + Boots

For the days when you want to wear a dress for a casual brunch and outings to the museum or shopping afterward, go with a classic dress. You can wear a blazer over the dress for a more elevated look and take it off when you want to be more casual.

I am wearing the Sézane Paolo in size small, with this investment Veronica Beard navy and gold button blazer in size 6, and denim dickey for a pop of color. For other similar less expensive options try this one, this blazer, and this one as well.

When it’s a bit colder out, you could easily still wear this outfit with tights, tall boots, and a longer coat.

Stripe Sweater + Pants + Sandals

Trousers and a simple sweater are also a perfect look for a brunch outfit when you don’t want to wear jeans and look a bit more dressed up. Maybe if you’re going to brunch at a hotel or restaurant where dress code is required.

This Sandro sweater (similar options are & Other Stories, this Trudy from Sézane, and this one from La Ligne. is a classic stripe yet has a bit of a twist with the sparkle and shine. It makes for a fun option to wear and gives a different look (wearing a small).

I wanted to go with a lighter look so I wore this sweater with these Reformation Pants, but easily could have also worn the sweater with black or navy pants as well.

For shoes, I chose my favorite neutral sandal, the Sézane Gloria (wearing normal size), and ba&sh Paris trench just in case, because you never know when you’ll need one in Paris.

Black Blazer + Dark Denim + Scarf

An easy outfit for brunch and always sharp and elevated looking is wearing a tweed blazer with a dark pair of denim or pants and a scarf. This is a Parisian brunch outfit you can wear any time of the year.

Here, I am wearing the ba&sh Meredith Jacket in size small, it’s such a beautiful and timeless jacket to have for years. However, here are a few other more affordable options as well, this jacket from MANGO (I also own and a favorite), and this jacket from J.Crew.

The dark denim and boots are both from Sézane and the scarf is from a flea market in Paris, but here’s a similar one. The scarf is elegant, adds a pop of color to the outfit, and is very French. However, the scarf is optional.

Denim Jacket + Pants + Sneakers

During fall an easy and relaxed brunch outfit is trousers, a denim jacket with a sweater, and sneakers. This is perfect for a casual spot whether outdoors or indoors.

The Sézane denim jacket is a great layering piece for the days when it’s a bit cool out but then you can easily take it off as you sit and linger at brunch with champagne and friends. I am wearing it with this Sézane sweater, Reformation Pants, and these Stan Smith Sneakers.

Skirt + Top + Sandals

During spring and summer for brunch go with a maxi or midi skirt or dress with a favorite sandal and top.

You will look polished and classic for any venue while also feeling comfortable at the same time. If in doubt about what to wear to brunch during warmer months, go with this option. You will look like a local and blend in as well.

This summer to brunch and a museum afterward, I wore this navy skirt (similar from J.Crew, along with a white t-shirt and this cropped ba&sh jacket.
