Parisian Inspired Spring Capsule

25 Piece Parisian Inspired Spring Capsule

Here’s your Parisian-inspired spring capsule for a new season, containing 25 classic pieces to mix and match for everyday wear this spring season.

Parisians are always among the most timeless and classic examples of wearing pieces over and over and looking chic, it’s all part of that French philosophy about dressing. I look to them when putting together this Parisian-inspired Spring wardrobe capsule.

Dressing like a Parisian and French woman is attainable to anyone, you don’t necessarily need to be French or even live in Paris. I am here to show you how to do this anywhere and at any age.

A capsule collection can help you with this because these are pieces you can wear year after year. No more wondering what to wear every day and getting frustrated with your closet.

Here are 25 pieces to mix and match and to help with your Parisian-inspired Spring wardrobe. This doesn’t mean you only wear these 25 pieces exclusively either. There are other classic pieces to wear and maybe a trend here or there.

However, having pieces narrowed down will help with the selection. I’ve also shared a few ways I would wear the outfits together.

SHOP TOPS AND JACKETS

DENIM JACKET

A denim jacket never goes out of style and this year they are longer and belted. So chic for a denim-on-denim look with sneakers or with black jeans and boots.

STRIPE SWEATER (Less Expensive Option)

Nothing is more classical French than a striped sweater. Stripes can easily be worn with jeans or pants and layered under a blazer as well. Go for a few stripe sweaters with one black and one navy. You can never go wrong with stripes, it’s a French classic.

NAVY BLAZER

Navy blazers are beautiful in spring worn with white jeans and loafers. Parisians love to wear navy and who can blame them, it’s chic and elegant.

CARDIGAN (Less Expensive Option)

A classic cardigan is always a staple and this cream color is easy to wear with jeans and pants.

TWEED JACKET

Classic any time of the year, a tweed jacket always adds polish to any outfit and can be worn casually or dressed up.

SILK DRESS ( Less Expensive Option)

A beautiful and classic piece you can wear with a blazer, leather jacket, or denim jacket. Dress it up with heels or keep it casual with flats or sneakers. For an above-the-knee dress go with this one from Cinq à Sept.

NAVY WOOL COAT

This beautiful navy coat is elegant and polished. It can easily be worn dressed up or casually and it’s Alpaca so will keep you warm.

TRENCH COAT

The classic coat that I wear all Spring long. My absolute favorite and one I wear is the Sèzane Scott Trench and the fit is just perfect. This trench sells out every year so if you’re thinking about it, grab it now.

BASIC TEES

You can never have enough basic tees in your closet. I like to update mine in the Springtime. You can also swap out your tees for silk camis for a more elevated look.

WHITE BUTTON DOWN (Less Expensive Option)

A classic white button-down always goes a long way with jeans and flats during Spring.

BLUE BUTTON DOWN

Trade out your white button-down for a blue button-down the next day. Wear a different style of jeans and sneakers to change it up.

SILK BUTTON DOWN

Add a feminine touch with this beautiful silk bow top.

SHOP BOTTOMS AND ACCESSORIES

NAVY TROUSERS (Less Expensive Option)

Classic and beautifully tailored silk pants to wear with sweaters or your button-downs. Navy goes with anything so don’t be afraid to wear this color this spring season.

STRAIGHT-LEG DENIM

Straight-leg denim is highly on-trend this Spring but one of the denim styles Parisians wear all the time.

WHITE DENIM (Less Expensive Option)

I love to wear white denim with a pretty top, and flats, and carry a straw tote for a polished Springtime look.

BLACK FLARES (Less Expensive Option)

Perfect to wear with a silk cami and leather jacket for a night out with friends.

STRAW TOTE (Less Expensive Option)

This was one of my favorite purchases, I used it so much last Summer. It’s definitely an investment piece but worth it to me as much as I use it.

ECRU BAG (Less Expensive Option)

A great update for this spring season is a beautiful ecru or white colored handbag.

SILK SCARF

I love to wear a beautiful silk scarf in the Spring to dress up a plain tee or lightweight sweater. This is the time when I like to use some color in my wardrobe.

BLACK BELT

Everyone needs a classic black belt in their closet.

GOLD HOOPS

My everyday jewelry consists of these gold hoops which I wear daily.

SNEAKERS

Easy sneakers for evening walks and very comfortable.

ANKLE BOOTS (Less Expensive Option)

Boots are still a necessity in Spring with jeans or even skirts.

LOAFERS

Loafers are a great option to slip on and off when you want to dress things up a little. Love the gold buckle detail of these.

SLINGBACKS

The perfect slingback that goes with everything.

Additional accessories you can also add would be an umbrella and wrap.
